[Well luckily for him, his last plan is the one that's going to work. Jataro is almost mesmerized as the song goes on, and that slight suggestive chance to the lyrics does exactly what they're meant to do. He doesn't seem the slightest bit apprehensive as he turns around, approaching the man again...]
["Hand it over" he does, slipping his hand into the pocket on his apron and producing the key card Marco wants. And then he holds it out, still seemingly mesmerized. How rude of you! Taking advantage of him like this! Once he snaps out of it....well he'll probably just be more confused than anything...]
Thank you, [he whispers, gently taking the card and putting it back in his own pocket. Even more quietly, he whispers an apology; used as he is to hypnotizing people like this, he can't help feeling guilty about it, even when feeding isn't involved in the equation. It's manipulation, pure and simple; it's wrong.
Still, he continues humming as he walks away, until he's far enough not to be heard. He still needs to get away, after all.]
[For shame! You could at least face the kid after hypnotizing him and taking what he rightfully stole from you first!!! At least luckily for him Jataro doesn't have a super sniffer or anything. As good as he is at chasing people once he's spotted them, if they lose him he's not good at tracking them down again. Enjoy your safety you monster.]
