I'm not terribly concerned with returning home quickly, so that's alright. I was mostly curious about what opposition really means. It sounds like it's all a bit out of my depth, however.

It means different things to different people. Personally, I'm aiming for a peaceful solution, one that means nobody needs to get hurt. I made mistakes in the past, but this is what I sincerely believe now.
Yes, that is very understandable. I think most people would agree that painless solutions are better than painful ones. Of course, the fact that people are already being hurt now complicates the matter some.
