Very recently, we made progress on a portal that would allow people to go home, if they'd like. Although I should let you know right away, it may take a significant amount of time until we're able to perform the next live test. We've lost our only safe power source for the moment.
I'm not terribly concerned with returning home quickly, so that's alright. I was mostly curious about what opposition really means. It sounds like it's all a bit out of my depth, however.
[It takes Marco... a minute or two to decide what to say. He's not sure if this is the answer Fujyou is looking for, but it's an honest one.]
It means different things to different people. Personally, I'm aiming for a peaceful solution, one that means nobody needs to get hurt. I made mistakes in the past, but this is what I sincerely believe now.
Yes, that is very understandable. I think most people would agree that painless solutions are better than painful ones. Of course, the fact that people are already being hurt now complicates the matter some.
[ That is, people who are hurt will try to hurt the ones hurting them. Either way, she isn't looking for a particular answer; she's merely trying to understand the state of things as they are. ]
Still, in that case, it sounds like this opposition is not particularly organized. Is that right?
It's just a title. All it really means is that I'm particularly close to Elias. I always tell people they can come to me if they need help, but I'm no leader or anything of the sort.

Then yes, I suppose that's accurate.
<asagao>
If you don't mind me asking, what is the purpose of the priesthood, then?
<marco>
I always tell people they can come to me if they need help, but I'm no leader or anything of the sort.
[... Not anymore, anyway.]
<asagao>
[ Honestly, given that the subjects at hand are reportedly gods, it sounds a little funny when it's framed that way. But... ]
Could the same be said for the Fog priesthood?
<marco>
I'm certainly more comfortable with it than with the idea of being a religious leader.
[And yet, is he any more qualified...?]
Frankly, I wouldn't be able to tell you.
You might want to ask Noa Kaiba. He's one of the less
extreme Fog priests.
<asagao>
Thank you for the suggestion. There is just so much to navigate that I am unaware of still. How would I go about doing that?
<marco>
Give me a second.

Well, I can't think of any other questions right now, so I won't take up any more of your time. Thank you for your help, sir!
