I'm alright with that. I keep hearing about what the Fog has to say from incredibly biased and frankly rude sources. I'd like to hear what the other side has to say as well And I'd really like to do something towards getting home instead of sitting around.
There IS a lot to go over. The Fourth God - his real name is Elias - is the fourth because the Fog is the third. The Day and Night gods came first, but only the locals worship them.
That would explain why no one talks about them. What do you mean real name? Was he not always a god? Not that I really buy a lot of this god stuff to begin with but you know.
He knows Elias is just going to ask her to join. That's essentially what Elias told him, the last time Marco reminded him he'll do just about anything for him - they need more friends.
But maybe that's okay. Maybe she can come to her own decision, if she talks to him.]
Technology is typically the way to go if you'd like to try talking to Elias. Message yourself on your laptop, or talk into the radio. He'll answer. You don't have to do anything you don't want to. I want to make that very clear. But the more people we have on our side, the more progress we can make.
[After, you know, he gets all his disclaimers out of the way.]
Take your time, okay? It's not like becoming allies with a god is a decision you can't walk back from, exactly, but Still, it's better to think it over.

<marco>
Not right away, mind you, but it IS something we're working towards.
<CheeryCherry>
And about what the Fourth God even is.
There's so much I don't know.
Why the "Fourth" if there are only two?
Who even IS he?
<marco>

<marco>
No.
He was just a regular boy, until his father "gave" him half of the Fog God's power.
Rather, he forced him to take it.
<CheeryCherry>
That's horrible.
[ What else!! Do you say!! To that!!! ]
<marco>
[Sometimes?? That's all you really CAN say.]
To be honest, that's one reason why I'm still with Elias.
He deserves better.
<CheeryCherry>
<marco>
He'll probably ask you to join us, but you don't have to do it if you don't want to.
<CheeryCherry>
I just want to find a way to get home. I thought maybe he could help or
At least it'd feel like I was doing something.

... He can't lie. Even if lying might get Elias a new ally, he can't lie about this.]
If we find a safe power source, it will be used for our portal first.
<CheeryCherry>
I need to think about this.
Thank you for answering my questions. I know this all must be strange.
<marco>
I'm happy to help when possible.

I don't think I really want to act rashly about something like this.
[ Stunning, Riley has a shred of rationality. ]
<marco>
<CheeryCherry>
I really appreciate you taking time out to talk to me like this.
<marco>
Let me know if you need anything else.
