I know the parasites don't like people with Fog powers. I suppose that, since monster abilities come from the Fog...that was enough to poison the queen.

Yes, that is very understandable. I think most people would agree that painless solutions are better than painful ones. Of course, the fact that people are already being hurt now complicates the matter some.

Thanks for telling me what happened with the portal. Sorry it didn't work out! But it didn't cause peninsula-wide disaster, so you're clearly doing something right. It probably has to do with participation being voluntary...
